Your health and wellbeing is our number one priority. To support the health of our community please observe the below policy:
Bookings are essential for all classes. Classes are limited to 20 students.
Please adhere to the following:
⦁ Check in on arrival to the studio.
⦁ Wash or sanitise hands on arrival to the studio.
⦁ Temperature check on arrival to the studio.
⦁ Social distancing guidelines, stay 1.5m apart.
⦁ Bring your own mat, towels and props that you wish to use for your classes.
⦁ For pole dancing bring 2 clean face washers to class. One to use during class and the other to use at the end of class to clean the pole. Please wash these after each visit to the studio.
⦁ Common areas in the studio and the car parking area can not to be used before or after class for socialising.
⦁ Please stay home if you are feeling unwell, have a cough, fever or sore throat.
Conditions of Entry
As La Pole Dance & Fitness Studio (“La Pole”) re-opens the studio, the safety of our students and instructors is of paramount importance. We have put measures in place to prioritise the health and wellbeing of everyone.
The core principles adopted at La Pole are:
⦁ Creating a safe environment – including observing protocols around limiting the number of students within our studio and installing signage to ensure social distancing and good hygiene is practiced by all instructors and students.
⦁ Vigilance in adhering to the most up-to-date state and federal government instructions and guidelines – our commitment is to stay up to date with all information to ensure safety.
⦁ Studio to be closely maintained and monitored – including ongoing revision of hygiene protocols, increased cleaning and disinfecting, and providing additional hand sanitiser.
⦁ Information will always be made available to our students – to help people stay safe.
The conditions of entry to the studio have been updated to reflect these core principles and are outlined below.
Students and instructors are not permitted to enter La Pole if they:
⦁ are experiencing any flu-like symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever);
⦁ have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 (during the period of time in which the virus is contagious);
⦁ are awaiting the results of a test for COVID-19;
⦁ reside with anyone who is awaiting the results of a test for COVID-19;
⦁ have returned from international travel and failed to observe the government requirement to quarantine for 14 days.
Students and instructors who enter La Pole must be willing and able to agree to the following requirements to:
⦁ leave the studio immediately if they become unwell, after notifying an instructor;
⦁ at all times, maintain social distancing measures (as per the NSW Health guidelines) with respect to all others in the studio;
⦁ maintain good personal hand hygiene by washing their hands regularly and thoroughly and/or using hand sanitiser;
⦁ maintain good respiratory hygiene by coughing or sneezing into their elbow or a tissue, and then disposing of tissues immediately;
⦁ provide La Pole with their name and contact details and consent to the studio providing their name and contact details to the NSW Department of Health or any other third-party government department, as required to enable contact tracing procedures;
⦁ acknowledge that they may be asked to wait, or be refused entry, to the studio in the event that the site has reached its total capacity under NSW Health social distancing requirements;
⦁ respond accurately to the following questions if asked by an instructor:
⦁ Are you or anyone you live with currently undergoing testing or awaiting results for the COVID-19 virus?
⦁ Have you or anyone you live with tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and have not been medically cleared as non-contagious?
⦁ Do you have any flu-like symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever)?
⦁ acknowledge the right of La Pole to refuse entry or request their departure from the studio at any time and for any reason;
⦁ at all times, treat instructors and other students with respect.
